Elaine's Haunted Mansion
There are many spirits in residence at this Victorian Cape May landmark. The most well-known one is Emily Reed. The Reed family built this as their summer home so that Emily, who had contracted an illness that left her unable to walk, could benefit from the sea air. Nuns and students at the Our Lady Star of the Sea school across the street reported the figure of a woman in white walking the second floor balcony in and around Emily's "treatment room" in the front. If Emily was wheelchair bound, then how can she be the woman in white? Find out in "Cape May Haunts"

The Queen's Hotel
This quiet looking inn was once a druggist AND a speakeasy. It is said that this is the only speakeasy that was never shut down. This was due to their unique warning system. An older woman sat on a rocker placed on a very squeaky floorboard. When she saw the law coming, she would rock very hard and fast, causing the boards to sqeak and alert those inside.
The upper floors are said to have been host to a more intimate type of entertainment and some of the young ladies that "entertained" there are said to remain in the building to this day.

The Peter Shields Inn
This inn is host to at least two spirits; a father who is proud of his beautiful home and family and a teenage son who died in a tragic accident. The son reamins in the lower floor, near the bathrooms and the back door and the father roams the rest of the house, making his commanding presence known to all who enter, if they are open to it.
